Literature Text

Unreachable siren so far away
Your memory keeping my mind at bay
Unraveling still into the fray
Unable, my love, to proclaim today.
Desperate and weary, I go to lay
Invaded my thoughts of metric to weigh
The way that I love you, such need to say
Yet in silence instead I lay down this verse
Relenting the anguish of this curse
Ebbing, my heart, aloof, as it may,
Reprieve me some solace, just for the day
I find that I love you, and now I'm okay.
I love you.
